Guidelines
The Division of Nursing and Midwifery Services under the Ministry of Health has the role to oversee the provision of quality nursing and midwifery services in the country. One of its responsibilities is to develop guidelines for improving the quality of nursing and midwifery services.
The presence of the Respectful and Compassionate Care guidelines themselves is not enough, unless it is put into practice. This HEALCARe training contains strong elements that focus on core competencies so nurses and midwives will ensure that the promise to deliver high-quality care is achieved.
